Senthil Loganathan is currently heading the Cloud & DevOps practices at Standard Chartered Retail, Private & Wealth Banking Technology. He is passionate about Cloud & DevOps and believe that these are who wheels of a bike to enable agility in any enterprise. He have been driving Cloud adoption in our Retail, Private & Wealth Technology for couple of years. He is excited about the new challenges in adopting cloud & devops in the financial industry and especially banks. He is an architect ardent on designing & engineering large-scale applications for high availability & fault tolerance. He is a strong technologist with hands on skills and has a proven track record in building digital & financial solutions for two decades.

1. Why do you think speaking at #doppa2020 really matters to you?

DevOps is about the culture of adopting best engineering practices to enable agility, this event stresses on that is a great place to find out the latest trends.

2. Do you think that organizations and individuals should promote virtual learnings special in the current situation?

100%, I have been using virtual learning platforms like linuxacademy for many years and believe that this is the best way of education and upskilling comfortably from wherever you are.

3. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work?

Preparing a todo list every morning and getting them done through the day.

4. Anything else you want to share

“Every company is Now a Tech Company” as quoted by Wall Street Journal’s technology reporter Christopher Mims. I strongly believe that Cloud & DevOps will be defacto standard for build technology in the future and we are at an inflection point. In a decade, 70% of the stocks on Wall Street will be technology sector as every company adopts technology.
