Masa would be moderating the Panel discussion on Day 1.
Masa K. Maeda is founder and principal of Valueinnova LLC in the USA. He also contribute to the knowledge work industry as steering committee member of the Agile Testing Alliance, the DevOps++ Alliance and the Kanban for Knowledge Work Alliance. He is also a coach/trainer on XSCALE, Kanban, and Scrum, as well as a senior consultant with the Cutter Consortium. After doing R&D at Apple Inc. He was founding team member of 5 startups in Silicon Valley (two were acquired by large corporations and another one became the powerhouse of a large broadcasting business), where he created the QA organizations at three of them for the entire companies (not limited to just the technology side).

1. Why do you think speaking at #doppa2020 really matters to you?
This is a great platform to share one’s experience and knowledge, and at the same time learn from the amazing speakers to improve oneself as a professional.
2. Do you think that organizations and individuals should promote virtual learnings special in the current situation?
Absolutely yes. The need for effective virtual interaction has existed even before what we are going through. The current situation has made such need stronger. I think we should take this opportunity to shift our mindset to improve the way we communicate and collaborate remotely.
3. While practice makes all of us perfect, share an everyday practice that has made things better for you at work?
Ecosystems thinking. This means we have to understand and accept that all the elements (business, market, people, technology, etc.) are interconnected and that we must make sure to make decisions and take actions that benefit them all.
